March 2009- life around here

Ali came over after the zoo and had a sleepover here. They had alot of fun!


Their favorite thing to do was play dress up. There were clothes all over the house, and it only got worse after I decided to clean out our closet, and came across some of the clothes I bought for dress up days in high school... I'm very glad I kept that stuff!


Oma (my mom) gave Kyleigh some moon sand for her birthday. She loves playing with it. Here is the "castle" she made.

New Vehicle

I know, we finally bought a new vehicle! After about 8 months of looking, and 4 months of driving the Samurai around, we found the vehicle that we wanted for the right price, condition, miles, and all the stuff we liked but said it would be a bonus if the vehicle we bought had it (eg. sunroof)
We ended up with a 2000 GMC Yukon XL in good condition with under 100000 miles on it. It's like a suburban, but made by GMC. For those who are curious, here are some pics of the vehicles.

The zoo with Aunty Missy

Missy and Dennis came down last weekend, and we did a lot together, They came over Friday night, we went to gma and gpa with then Saturday night, and Missy came to the zoo on Monday with Jen, Rebecca Aikema, and myself. Here are some self explanatory pics of the events!

Kyleigh's 4th birthday

Kyleigh turned 4 on March 11. She was very excited, and very spoiled. Andrew and I got her ears pierced, and were very proud of how brave she was! Here are a few other pics of her, and the gifts that she received.

Kyleigh has pierced ears!

Yay! We did it! Kyleigh had her ears pierced yesterday as one of her birthday presents from us. She was really good, only cried for about 3 seconds. Afterward, we went to McDonald's for Ice cream!

Kyleigh was flower girl in Dirk and Sandy's wedding on Friday. I didn't take many pics, so here are the ones I have. Bonnie- Sandy's sister made a fur "coat" for her... which she loved!

A few of her hair. I had my hair done at a salon, and had booked an appointment for Kyleigh too, just in case the day started out crazy. Kyleigh wanted hers done too after she saw mine (I took the girls along) so for $20 she got an updoo, and I had less stress!
